Everything you could expect from a library and more. Very nice open terrace on the roof where you can see whole city. Free entry. Also coffe shop is operating on the ground floor.

I visited the library with a friend when sight seeing the city. The old section of the library is a must see. The architecture in the building is breathtaking. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

What a contrast - the very old exterior and modern interior and then a real step back in time again into the Picton Room. A lovely wander around the library and views across the city from the roof terrace. Well worth the visit.
