We drove past Paul McCartney's home on our Beatles and City Centre sightseeing tour. Plenty of coaches had dropped people off to see the house, but no entrance without a National Trust ticket. Must be annoying for the neighbours!

Make sure you book a National Trust tour for this which allows you to go inside the house. We absolutely loved it and our guide Silvia was so passionate about it having lived through it all when she was younger. The house has been made...More

Seeing the homes where the Beatles once lived was really interesting. It was a great tour and made us feel quite honoured to see some of these places. It is a quick visit, enough time for a couple of photos and imagine what it would...More

We did a tour with black cabs and this was part of the tour. You are not allowed to take inside pictures and they gather up your purses an lock them up. The tour is informative and interesting. 5 stars

There's nothing exciting here, but it is Pual's former home. So Beatles fans are required to visit! Very safe area and most Beatles tours will bring you by. I recommend the Fab 4 Taxi Tour.

Almost every Beatles fan will want a photo op in front of Paul's childhood home, but the experience really is not much more than that.

Beautiful house, well mantained by the National Trust. The tour is nice, the hostess/guide is very kind. It would be nice to have some extra minutes enjoying the house by ourselves like you do at John's house, but the tell you this difference once the...More

expect to get emotional when you are in front of Forthlin Road # 20, when you realize that all those hits were created behind these tiny windows.

This does not look much from the outside - inside is seen only with a National Trust tour. It looks just like many. Often a tour taxi or other trip there. Not inspiring and did not bring the history to mind - o not bother...More

I think you have to be a member of the National Trust. Only did the Magical Mystery Tour which visits Forthlin Road but you can't go in. Entry is with National Trust only. Hope this helps.

You should be able to book online, but not on the day itself. This caught me out, so I turned up at the meeting point and there was thankfully space for me to join.

I think the points about the toilets are most relevant; the content of the tour is fine, nothing controversial or likely to cause any offence. I'd think three is a little too young, but you know your own better than anyone... More
