I went there on a rainy day and walked for an hour. It is a nice park to go for a walk. There is a cafe and toilets which i find very useful.

Enjoyed the park and play area. We hoped to get some nice food and enjoy a hot drink at the cafe but it was uninspiring to say the least. More greasy spoon than nice park cafe experience. A smile might have made things better but...More

This park is desperately in need of maintenance. The car park is potholed and full of puddles. The picnic benches are in desperate need of a pressure wash, you would not eat food from them. Dog owners and cyclists have no consideration for pedestrians. The...More

A lot of the park is a nature reserve, plus the children's play area where they have to be kept on leads. But there is plenty of space around the main lakes and woods where they can be free.

On public transport the number 66 and 29 buses run past the entrance. I live next door to the park so message me if you want any further help/advice.
