Been here multiple times with friends to play football, tennis, take a picnic or just chill on the grass. It's popular with dog walkers and kids. There's plenty of space to sit and it's so big you could easily find somewhere not too busy.
Visited here with our Springador, lots of space and lots of enclosed fields. Plenty of space to play fetch and not get in other people way. it was rainy but we pretty much had the fields to ourselves.

We visited with kids aged 6 & 8 and stayed for 5 hours. There was a good range of play equipment for children of all ages.
There's a big sandpit with climbing frames for younger children. The big slide is only good for little children...More
I visit this park nearly every single day walking the dog.
