We were on one of the lake cruisers (the green route) and decided to stop off here on a wet & windy day. There didn't seem to be much going on apart from some archery as we headed up to the house. We decided on...More

Being owned by the Lake District National Park, this property should represent all that is the best of the area. Instead, we found a café providing overpriced, low quality food in a less than appealing atmosphere. The grounds leading down to the lake shore should...More

What a great place, just a pitty I didn't have more days there. Loads to do for all ages, prices in my opinion we're resonable. Great to let kids or adults burn some energy, loads of places to sit down and have your picnic. This...More

This was a great couple of hours. We were held up by a few people who were a little scared, but, once they had gone we had a great time. My youngest child was 11 and my eldest was 15 and we whizzed around the...More

Good way to spend a day out with the family, ideal for both small and older children. The Visitors building has beautiful gardens, a cafe, shop and indoor play area for under 4s.

We usually holiday in the lakes once a year and always come to brockhole. Superb activities for the family. This time around we did the laser clay shooting which was really fun and at £10.00 for 45 mins shooting it's great value too! Give brockhole...More

It's a 15 - 20 minutes walk from White Cross holiday centre. We walked with two kids and our dog. Come out of the centre turning left. Footpath all the way.
