We visit this garden every time we visit the Lakes and we love it more each time. It is run by volunteers, looks fabulous, has a national collection of hydrangeas (out in September when we visit) and just a joy to see.

This is a must visit- a wonderful garden and completely done by volunteers! Unbelievable! Hydrangeas in bloom en masse, lots of lovely ferns, herbaceous borders and such a pleasant place to sit and relax. Free to enter- donations appreciated, Can't wait to visit again.

A lovely walled garden is the centrepiece to surrounding garden. wide range of plants/flowers. Spectacular views over the lakes. A quiet peaceful place for contemplation. A hidden gem.
