If you take a walk around Grasmere and/or Rydal lakes it is definitely worth to take this short ascent to the Rydal Cave that in addition to this quite unusual cave full of water offers also nice view to the Rydal water lake.

Rydal yes very doable with a sling, Can get the pram a good distance but higher up you go the steeper and there is also pebble and loose bricks path towards the caves.
