We walked around Rydal water after coming down from Loughrigg Fell. It is very relaxing and the reflections in the water are amazing. Combine it with a visit to White Moss to see the bluebells.

Walked along Rydal via the terrace and then Grasmere before scaling Loughrigg....great day out........Beautiful scenery.

Ive been doing this walk since i was a kid. Beautiful place amazing photos to be had especially with refelctions from the lake. Nice lite beach. Down side is there are no dog poo bins anywhere..

This walk around Ryan water was very interesting as you found a cave complete with stepping stones. Also stopped at Wordsworth houses which is beautiful!

Sorry I was thinking of Derwent Water.. Rydal yes very doable with a sling, Can get the pram a good distance but higher up you go the steeper and there is also pebble and loose bricks path towards the caves.

Hi we drove to Rydal water I think you would need to catch a bus ring up a tourist information they would help.

There is a NT car park nearby. Several pounds for a few hours. Not sure of price for longer
