This is a great trip if you want to see lake windermere and visit the other side of the lake . The boats do have a toliets and a small bar.

It was an unseasonably warm day when we visited Lake Windermere as the weather can be pretty wet I had been warned. Took a boat trip around the lake to Ambleside and stopped at Bowness. Very scenic beautiful calm place to be.

I agree with Mark B. However please be aware that Windermere Town And Station are 1- 1.5 miles from Lake Windermere. The nearest access point on the Lake to the station is Bowness on Windermere.

roughly £40-45 for a family ticket. good value in my opinion
