Stopped in briefly during the daytime to change a nappy and had a drink - extremely helpful and friendly staff and a stunning property and gardens. Would definitely recommend this detour on the way up (preferably back from) Easdale.

Lovely walk to Lancrigg on a hot summers day, think we picked a particularly busy day as staff were working hard to meet the demands of customers. Carrot cake was amazing and homemade so give it a try.
