Fabulous inside but very expensive. My brother bought some specialist chocolates and he said they were amazing. We bought some bagged sweets that were nothing special but more expensive than elsewhere. Bit chaotic at the till with only one lady working (who was very nice)...More

Visited here on a recent break in the lake distict. This shop is amazing. There is something for everyone chocolates in all different themes and lots of different sweets too. Would recommend visiting here. Excellent!

Friars have managed to replicate their lovely original old world chocolate shop in Keswick a bit further south in the Lake District. There's a massive selection of handmade chocolates and truffles (salted caramel my favourite) and the full range of Jelly Belly jelly bean flavours....More
