The new bar is ridiculous. Can’t get through the door as so many people crammed in , god help us if there was a fire. Can never get a drink .After the farce last time, we now have a nice meal and drink somewhere else....More

Initial impression was that everything is fresh and bright, and we loved the new extension / entrance area. Searching people's bags at the old entrance (but not the new one!) solely seemed to serve the purpose of detecting when someone has brought a drink or...More

Considering this theatre has just recently undergone a £16 million refurbishment, I was unimpressed. The seats in this theatre are tiny, cheap looking and uncomfortable. I was sat on row C and while the amount of leg room wasn’t bad the seats were like rocking...More

This is the first time I've visited since its refurbishment. It has a much larger, beautifully designed bar, a restaurant and most important a larger stage which can accommodate large ballet and theatre companies. I went to the excellent, 'Kite Runner', which had come from...More

Very disappointing light bites in the downstairs cafe bar - expensive, poor selection (no vegan), undercooked chips, cheap burger and ham and no hot drinks. Thank goodness the production was top-notch!

I have been twice since the refurbishment, I cannot fault the shows especially “The Producers” for amateurs they were excellent but I wish some money had been spent on the seating which I found very uncomfortable so glad for the interval and end to be...More

Visited this venue and though it is a good theatre the cafe food is expensive and poor. I had the cheeseburger from he menu and the chips were not properly cooked. The cheeseburger itself was of the type that can be bought from Iceland, as...More

Visited the Hull New Theatre for the first time for years. There is plenty of car parking around the vicinity of the theatre. We parked in Albion street car park which is free after 6pm. The exterior of the theatre looks lovely, and even windows...More
