What a lovely park! We had several hours to kill before we went to our next activity so we chose to go to the park for a picnic lunch. And I'm so glad we did! Such a beautiful park! And the playground area was perfect...More

Lovely park, beautiful lake and playground for children. Worth a visit at any time of the year just for a walk, feeding birds, or boating on the lake.

Beautiful (but really muddy... bring wellies in winter). Walks in the park, around the lake are lovely. Did attend Fireworks back in November.. very well done. Looking forward to "Pub in the Park" in July.

Yes, dogs are allowed. On a lead is best because of the children and the water birds, but I have seen people exercising them off the lead. Also seen owners risking drowning trying to retrieve their dogs from the lake.
