I bought an experience on this train line for my partner for Christmas (we found out it is cheaper to book directly with them than virgin experiences, even after including additional drinks) and it is very popular so we didn’t get to go until April....More

18th Birthday treat for a complete train obsessive. He got to drive a diesel train the length of the track and back again and absolutely loved every minute. Lovely kind driver to teach him. Real fire in the waiting room and lovely artefacts. Just great.

It's a fun evening although can drag on a bit but very entertaining. The fish and chips are passable but what makes it is the other passengers, from all walks who throw themselves into the mystery. Good value evening.
