Popped into this church on our recent stay in Ramsgate and discovered a very informative display on St Augustine and also the architect Pugin. Well worth the visit

A bit off the main drag of Ramsgate this really is a hidden gem. Absolutely beautiful gothic church designed by the master that was Pugin. There is such tranquil feel to the Church it's almost tangible. Well worth a visit

Despite that, we had the place to ourselves for the hour or so we were there. Nice information centre and friendly guide. Impressive decorative features.

Absolutely beautiful. The stations of the cross are phenomenal and really portray the grief of the resurrection. The shrine is kept in beautiful condition by the volunteers and the priests and it really is an amazing place to visit regardless if you a Catholic or...More

If you visit the Shrine then you need to visit the Grange next door.Its truly a spiritual place and has calming qualities
