We were there on a very quiet day, just before New Year’s Eve. We chatted to the owner and drank our way through a good selection of ciders.

Great atmosphere, great beers, lovely people and great music. All the ingredients for an amazing micropub and a highlight of my trip to Dover. I will definitely be going back to the Thirsty Scarecrow.

Came across this great little micro brewery when wandering back to our accommodation. The host was very welcoming as were the other guests. Neither of us really like cider so luckily there were a couple of lagers and a very tasty gin available. In fact...More

Cracking selection of ciders and a couple of ales with a landlord that cares about what he does. Will be back soon.

Visited this lovely establishment for a tasty glass of local perry and their homemade spiced cider with rum. Highly recommended....and they allow you to eat take away food so why not sample the lovely fish and chip shop around the corner ☺
