Visited for a night out on a number of occasions staff are friendly and welcoming always willing to help never had a problem there i have been to worst places

Place is dirty, only slightly redeeming thing about this dive is pool table. I genuinely think this place only serves the dregs that are barred from everywhere else in town. Always full of rotters screaming outside and causing trouble. The staff are rude and ignorant....More

The duchess is a great all round pub. With bt sport, dart board, pool table and also a jukebox with millions of songs which is updated weekly ,what more could you want in a local pub in the town. The drinks are cheaper than Whetherspoons...More
