After a steady 2mile walk along the White cliffs of Dover this lovely lighthouse provides great views and a place to have a cup of tea in the tea room. I didn’t do the lighthouse tour but plan to on my next visit.

We had a lovely cup of tea and really nice cake here whilst out walking recently. We were walking from Dover to Kingsdown. Really retro cafe with all the trimmings inside, old gramophone records and really old forties style furniture. Worth a look. The views...More

Wonderful lighthouse with great tea rooms and shop. Wide views over the Channel towards France and the Goodwin Sands. Tour guide was okay (we have been more than once) . Parking restricted - best to walk the cliffs ! Good for picnics and kite flying

Brilliant tea - served from vintage teapots and cups and saucers. Gorgeous cakes and eats. All set out in front room overlooking the channel <3 :-)

A guided tour by knowledgeable locals of this historic lighthouse, topped off with wonderful views from the top. Not a strenuous climb even though the lighthouse is apparently as high above ground as Fan Bay Deep Shelter is below

The lighthouse tour is not accessible in a wheelchair. I am in my late 50's and found the stairs to the top, and down again quite a task ! There is plenty of seating outside so if someone could go into the cafe and bring... More
