Screaming children with no parental or managerial control. no fish on 'fishy Friday', a duty manager who didn't give a toss when asked why (16th Feb,) grossly overcrowded, dirty carpet, dirty, dirty tables, dingy, no decent real cider, very long wait for food, one drunkard...More

Having wandered around the delights of Canterbury on a warm Bank Holiday, it was time for a sit down and cool drink. Chose the Wetherspoon as it was on the way back to the station. And because it was going to be relatively quiet. Hot...More

Pretty typical of the chain although the staff were very polite and helpful. Situated across the road from the Pound and The Westgate of the city . Which gives a great view if you ignore the constant traffic flow. Decent ale well kept.

This pub was heaving and is very popular with Kent University students. As all Wetherspoons pubs are, it's great value and a good night out.

We have always appreciated the Wetherspoon experience, but I have got to say that I took my better half to a 'proper' restaurant on the previous night and forked out the best part of 80 notes!!!!!! To say over priced and pretentious would be an...More

So as far as they go it's ok, cheap beer, standard food, better than some as the building has some character but best avoided on weekend evenings.
