Highly recommend that you visit this pub with its unique decor and atmosphere - you will not be disappointed. It makes a nice change to sit back, having a drink (or two) relaxing in 'pleasant' surroundings.

Friendly atmosphere, good value for students, sufficient range of drinks. Good location, near other the Chocolate Cafe and La Trappiste if you want food.

Popped in here for a drink. Service was appalling. Barmaid too busy chatting to another customer whilst serving us. Wrong change given, sure the cost of drinks was incorrect too - £12 for a pint of ale and a Malibu & coke??!!

We sat outside under the heaters on a cold miserable day & thoroughly enjoyed it. Really friendly helpful barman. We were just having a quick drink however we would return to eat there too.

Fab barman who advised on wine & beer choices. Lovely little courtyard that was heated & sheltered despite a little rain.

I've visited a lot of pubs in my time and I'm sad to see any negative reviews of this place. It's a pub. Not a 5 star, waited on hand and foot establishment. This is as close to a proper British pub as you can...More

Loved it here. Made to feel really welcome & given great advice on which wine & real ale to choose for my husband & I. Lovely little outdoor patio area.
