You have some nerve to say this after all we have done and put with you and your family over the years. You choose to air your grievances in public like this -you should be ashamed of yourself!! We have put up your stupidity all...More
This may be a great pub for drinks, but when we arrived around 7:00, we were told they were out of all the specials and only had pizza and something else, maybe burgers, left. We were told this from behind the bar, while we stood...More

If you came after 7pm on a Sunday when the kitchen closes and is well publicised I commend my Staff for still offering you something even though the kitchen was closed (did I mentioned that already??), but you choose to make a point of saying...More
Really nice, well kept historical pub! Of course the interior is very traditional so that's great! The garden is accommodating and the food is fine! The selection of spirits is excellent, particularly the rum! Have to give a special mention to the guy with the...More
The pub itself is not bad, the staff however are horrendous. There was only one female with brown hair serving, rushed off her feet and the other two, a short blonde girl and a large chubby guy, we're outside chatting and doing nothing, the owner...More

Recently moved to the area. Came in for a quick bite and look around the other day. Lovely exterior as well as interior. Landlord seemed friendly sitting downstairs with the regulars. Pretty girl on the bar with dark hair was very chatty and helpful. Everyone...More

We nipped in here for a drink and ended up having some food. Lovely atmosphere and a proper fire going! Happy days! Lots of real ales to choose, good choice of wine and a specials board for food. The food seemed very cheap so we...More

Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed your visit, and look forward to your next.
Just come out of the Unicorn and the interior just reminded me of my teenage years. It does not seem to have changed at all. Very traditional. Had a meal in the garden. Staff very helpful. Good pub food. Lovely evening.

Thank you, considering we had a fire a year ago, we endeavoured to keep the 400 year old building as it should - with a few modern tweaks!
