We popped in here for a couple of drinks as from the outside it looked like a "typical old pub" - we were I am afraid to say disappointed. Although the staff were friendly enough the drinks selection was very average, typical standard chain pub,...More

Popped in for a drink on a Tuesday evening. Bar was virtually empty and had no atmosphere. This is part of the Abode Hotel around the corner.

When I last ate here the menu was fantastic with a great selection of home cooked choices. The menu now comprises Hot Dogs, Burgers Pizza and Fahitas. We tried the fajitas and really wished we had gone elsewhere. My 14 yr old daughter could have...More

Nipped in here just to grab a quick drink before continuing our "trek" around Canterbury - wished we hadn't of bothered. The name gives a misleading impression, it may have been the Old Brewery but the atmosphere is of a modern day chain, very disappointed...More

This is a pub/restaurant type of place but has retained much of the charm from when the building was a brewery. Surprisingly there was not a great selection of ales. Just two so far as I could make out. But, the place is very well...More
