This place is far too tiny, just seems to smell of smoke and disappointment. Not a nice atmosphere at all.

The Cherry Tree is unique, I think, in mixing the ordinary workers and drinkers of Canterbury with the students. If you're in early, it's got people just done with their shift at wherever, then later on the students will drift in. Mostly I dislike students...More

Tucked up a little alley just off the main shopping street. If you had a drink and sat outside on the 2 tables you had to have plastic glasses or real ones If you sat inside. Staff weren't too bothered if we were there or...More

Visited the pub to kill a little time, before getting the bus back home. Old fashioned pub with some music on and was made welcome buy the bat staff. Sampled off beer were offered. Would happily visit again.

Disgusting sticky floors and barwoman screamed at us to get out. Total trash dump full of stoners. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dont expect a plush Wetherspoons and on first entering the grubby decor is a tad off putting but after settling down in your well worn out seat and chilling out to some blues music you realise this is what an old fashioned English boozer is...More

Visited the cherry tree with a friend while in canters. The pub is a little shabby but good atmosphere full of locals and good prices. Look out for the pig f@$ker cocktail for an interesting night out. Give it a visit.
