Went into this very pleasant establishment just for a drink one evening and were recommended the Sunday lunch by some of the locals: what a good recommendation! A superb lunch all round (well done Oli) the 'Yorkshires' were tasty and huge and complemented a superb...More

Visiting from overseas last week and came across The Cherry Tree and thought we'd give it a go. Oh what a mistake! The atmosphere was very unwelcoming and I instantly felt like I didn't belong there, we should have left at that point but I...More

This is a decent enough place to duck away from the madness in the High Street of Canterbury. There is real ale on offer. Service was good and swift. The place could do with tidying up a bit . The cocktail menu is something to...More

Lovely place, quiet and relaxed. Funny staff and a good selection of ales. Happy times to be had here that is for sure.

Thank you for your review, Gary. We appreciate the positive feedback and now have free wifi for our customers. We close the kitchen at 3 due to the pub being so small, meals in the evening would take up valuable drinking space! Hopefully see you...More

Sadly I haven't eaten here yet however we cam here for my birthday night out. The drinks are very reasonable and their signature cocktail is amazing. Staff are very friendly and the recent refurbish looks great.

Lovely pub, like they should be. Plain but homely. Friendly welcome, good ale choice. Enjoyed a nice chat and a sit down after lots of wandering around the picturesque streets.
