Well worth the punt down the river. Relaxing. ❤️ Dig deep and spend £20 for whole hour trip. Note: no tour info provided so pick up map.

A wonderful riverside walk. You can also take a punt through it into the beautiful countryside. Flower beds were well maintained and the tree planting was so varied it was like an Arbouretum/

Canterbury is a busy city with a frantic pace. Do take time out of your stay to visit some of the quieter public spaces that will give you a good sense of the quieter pace one might need.

The weather helped, but this was a lovely riverside stroll, just after breakfast and just enough to get us ready for lunch. And it's free!

Stunning on sunny morning. A lovely walk along by the river with a view of the West Gate at the end. Peaceful.
