I walked into this pub, not for the first time as I have been here before. However on this occasion I was here for a drink. Now I feel people who like to have a lager top should know this as the barmaid who cared...More

Always a warm welcome. Plenty of choices of ales (most of the time so long as they're not all settling!) Food reasonable value. Can get busy. Plenty of parking but this can get busy too! ;-)

Extremely friendly staff behind the bar - even though it was busy and bustling, one staff member in particular went the 'extra mile' to help which was very much appreciated. Thankyou to Joe !!

With 5 friends we had our regular weekly night out. Good choice of beers and wines, informed and helpful staff but can get busy and noisy. Overall always a pleasant place to visit. Reasonably priced.

Unfortunately the staff were not coping brilliantly this Sunday eve and seemed completely overwhelmed by the trade. To be barked at before we'd even walked in the door with "it's an hour wait for food" just wasn't very welcoming. Luckily we didn't want to eat...More

We often pop in here after shopping at Morrisons on our way back to Hemel, I like that they show the price of the drinks on the pumps so I don't have to ask, the menu is not massive which makes for an easier choice,...More
