I went with my family who enjoyed a the place very much. It is bit busy during weekends and when there is a function but otherwise very spacious and calm place. The oldest Roman Catholic church in UK. I will recommend it for all.

Visited the morning service and staff were very helpful and professional service given towards my husband who uses a wheelchair for mobility.The choir was lovely.Tonight we went to the Advent Procession in the Abbey and again staff were very helpful and professional service.
Having gone into the Cathedral purely because I was looking for something to do, I'm glad I did. This Cathedral is in the heart of St Albans and is only about 15 minutes away from the St Albans City rail station.

tho the catherdal dates from Roman times-the spirit , flow and mood is quite contemporary and very worshipful.special kudos for the staff and vicar for making this a "very real" place for faith development..p.s while we wee their we heard organ music-delightful
