I was in Winchester for a couple of hours, had never been there before, so popped into Tourist Information. A good range of Maps, Books, Postcards, Gifts, etc, and of course, a lady who will give you any Information you require.

When visiting Winchester fro the first time, stop here before touring. They are very helpful to give you directions and the best places to tour first.

it is located in the Winchester Guildhall -inside the building, we find a gift shop, coffee shop, washrooms, a good place to rest the tired feet. It is very informative

It is set in a wonderfully imposing building, close to the Cathedral and the statue of King Arthur. Inside it is spacious, with plenty of knowledgeable staff members. A must for all visitors to Winchester.
