This is the only museum I visited. Regiments with a long and colourful history. Sadly not a lot in there, could have shown a lot more uniforms and artifacts including present day uniforms. Various photos and brief descriptions but nothing riviting.

Start off with a good cuppa in the cafe and then tour the gardens before trying all of the museums. A must if visiting Winchester. Plenty of facilities and helpful staff.

Definitely worth a visit if you are in Winchester. I went along with my mother in her 80's and my son in his 20's. Suitable for all generations including younger children, and the diorama of the Battle of Waterloo was a particular highlight. The staff...More
