We got to Winchester early and was able to walk around whilst most stalls were setting up. The stall owners were very friendly and had excellent produce. As they morning went on the place really started jumping and it had a great atmosphere.

I love the farmers market in Winchester, despite it causing pedestrian chaos at the weekends. Lots of stalls offering a wide selection of local produce, from fruit & veg, cheese & meats through to locally produced wine & spirits. Really nice feel, friendly traders and...More

Wonderful old English market with hugging s of fabulous food. My favorite being the the sultana scones 6 for £5. I particularly like the money goes direct to the farmer.

A lovely collection of stalls selling very good quality produce. This is not street market pricing though. Not just meat vegetables and bread but micro distillery gin and other more unusual products. Well worth a wander and there are always a few free tasters if...More
