Edwardian theatre in great condition. With the red and gold seating and surrounding it looks good. Big stage able to handle West end musicals or great plays like importance of being Ernest.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable.
A quaint yet modern theatre in the beautiful City of Winchester. The splendid production of Beauty and the Beast was very well performed. Bar and cafe area serves hot and cold drinks and snacks. Numerous public car parks within easy reach of the theatre.
Always enjoy visiting this lovely theatre. It's small and intimate with good views of the stage in both the stalls and circle. The seats are offset so you can easily see between the people sitting in front (why don't all theatres do that?). It has...More
A lovely theatre, not too big and not too small. We sat in one of the boxes - not the best place to see the whole stage but nice and close. It's a shame that the show we went to was somewhat boring (Salad Days)...More
I've seen multiple shows here. It really is a lovely theatre, the bar and foyer area is modern, whilst the auditorium is beautifully decorated as a traditional theatre. Seats are comfortable with good leg room. Due to the size of the theatre, where ever you...More
Went to this lovely small but handsome theatre to see the Activ8 dance show and competition.
Kids put on a good performance and worked their socks off. Well done everyone involved.
Good comfortable seating up in the gods, excellent view of the whole stage.
Sasha Regan’s All-Male Company performing Iolanthe was the best theatre experience of the year. They are SUCH a talented group- acting, dancing and most of all singing with skill, joy and humour. You could hear every word. If you missed them in Winchester, do try...More
We saw Brighton Rock here and absolutely loved it! The production was faultless and the venue wonderful. It's quite small so you always get a good view and the acoustics sound great. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Great venue!

Front row stalls would probably be best, as if you sit front row circle, the safety bar (unless you’re pretty tall) can be annoyingly in the way. If you sit 2/3 rows back in the circle however it’s not a problem.
