I went on a Southampton Guided walk which was great and very informative. We met by the Lions at the Bargate and we walked the walls and visited the Medieval Vaults. It was really interesting.

It is nice to visit this town if you have a city break, but also with a must arrive at cruise ships terminals. People are really kind and they have an excellent taxi service-Radio Taxi.

You can pick up part of the city walls by West Quays, a mix of old and new structures. Recently had the Festival of Light projections on the city walls so look out for then when they return.

The walls are fabulous, great to see as historic interest, but we were also fortunate to have the light show at the same time, tasteful and mesmerising to watch

Walked the walls many times, Southampton is trying to make a much larger feature of the walls, need to replace signs as they are worn out.
