A lovely place for a walk if you are staying in the Sholing area. Great to see the different seasons and wildlife watching or walking a dog. Not worth a special journey from outside this area though as each district has its own special place.

First of all the location. The postcode given is incorrect, it is near SO19 9PF by the junction of Portsmouth Road A3025 and Spring Road. A likeable oasis for wildlife hemmed in on all sides by housing and busy roads. It has an interesting history...More

Only on road parking, except when the Sholing Valleys Study Centre is open on the last Sunday of each month (except August and December). The entrance is on Station Road, opposite the Millers Pond Pub.
