Palmerston Park is quite small and it doesn’t take long to check it out. It has pathways, tree and bushes - overall a regular park, at least this at time of the year.

Palmerston park is near to Southampton city centre and has large green areas and loads of mature trees and holds some amazing events throughout the summer months. The park is well maintained and is a great place to chill out.

After seeing the sights, we came across this park, what a lovely area it is, we see it in full bloom. Highly recommended

I didn't know anything special about this park, but has a massive play area for kids. You may want to avoid it if you have something planned, your kids will stick to it. My child is four, but was difficult to pull her out.

Spend a couple hours shopping and then stop by at this park. All of a sudden we are in a quite zone and inside a well kept park! Try it on a sunny day and you'll feel good. Will be back.

In my opinion this is the nicest park of Southampton, with many colours of flowers and trees. It is in area there are more parks next to each other. Definitely worth a walk!

The azalea, rhododendron and spring flowers but in summer the annuals are also spectacular. Walk round all the park and look for the Japanese garden. This is a great place for picnics or just sitting and watching the world go by.

The centre of Southampton seems to have several small parks inter linked. This one was another stunner. Loved the tree tunnel, the space for the littlies to run and the joy of walking into town through a park on the verge of spring.
