Southsea is ok but there is too much open space between things, they could actually put things like trampolines fixed into the beach for kids like they have in brighton.compare too other seaside places Southsea could improve.

Lovely area, nice walking. Cold on our visit but the area is clean and well looked after. Shingle beach.

Predominantly a shingle beach with some sand at low tide. Southsea Beach is a great view spot with all the ships and yachts entering Portsmouth harbour, plus the Southsea to Ryde hovercraft with operates from the area near Clarence Pier. There are eateries dotted along...More

A great place to walk, pass the D-day museum and castle all the way to the dockyard. Don't forget to take your change for a splash on the arcade machines.
