Church first built in 1212, and lost most of its roof in an air raid in 1941. It has some amazing stain glass windows and the stone work is a must see.

Did you know that Charles II married Catherine of Braganza here? That there are stained glass windows to Eighth Army, the Gunners and the British Army among others? Thanks to the knowledgeable lady who told us all about it, we do now!

Yes, the church is still in regular use by the military, making it the oldest garrison chapel in the world.
