We popped in to this little museum and enjoyed looking at the exhibits, particularly Fred sleeping it off in the cell! It is free and worth a quick look if you are in Tetbury.

What a great little museum! Brilliant exhibits and some great reading to do if you’re interested in the history of Tetbury and the constabulary there. Takes 1-2 hours to look round thoroughly and I’d recommend it!

Heart Beat local, it realy was like that. Take your kids and show them how it was, in an age before mobile phones.

This is a small spot and a good place to explore for a bit. When my kids were in the 5 to 11 age range they would have enjoyed seeing this. They are older now and we not with me but I still enjoyed it!...More

I took a small group from Swindon to visit this rather quaint but very interesting museum, it is a step back in time & real piece of social history, well worth a visit & what’s more it is free. Allow at least an hour.

Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Did you also spot the old telephone which you can pick up and listen in to callers to the old police station? All real cases taken from our archives!

A small but interesting museum of the history of Gloucestershire Constabulary on the ground floor, including the police cells, and a reconstruction of the Magistrates (Police Court) on the first floor contained within the old Police and Magistrates Court building.
