This will be a chance for you to immerse yourself in a small area of the Cotswold countryside where you can see many species from a dragonfly to a kingfisher. We have the support of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and their early surveys have already acknowledged the presence of Otter and Water Vole on the site with over 60 species of bird recorded and hundreds of plant and insect species. The Discovery Zone offers a dry area to explain the Life Cycle of the Egg and the Life of Birds, seating and soft play area. We also have ‘Trigg Hall’ our new Conference/classroom/lecture theatre facility which will expand our educational facilities for schools, the visitor experience and small business conferences. I visited birdland a lot when I was a child, but I hadn't been for about 10 years. I went yesterday and had a great time. There were lots of varieties of birds to see and it was lovely seeing the penguins up close.
