Amazing magical adventure!
Jan 2021
Had a great time taking part in the online adventures and can only imagine how fun they are in -person, can strongly recommend this to anyone looking for something really fantastical, specially if you enjoy D&D, LARP, roleplaying or just grew up loving Knightmare and similar!

Fantabulous online LARP experience
Dec 2020
The online Storymasters Tales LARP from The School of Wizards & Witches has become a fantastic way to spend an evening (or three) during these times of stay-at-home. The stories, props and interactions between participants all add to the experience immensely. Great fun, recommended both for those experienced in LARP and also to new folk (several have joined this as their first LARP experience).

Greatest Treat, Lockdown Or Not
Dec 2020 • Friends
I have been part of the ever growingOnline LARP event since it began. Production values are incredibly high, and each broadcast encourages player cooperation in order to complete missions. Filled with costumes and clever visual FX, the pleasurable activity is the closest thing we can get to the better know outdoor Live Action Role Play, very reminiscent of the 80's hit kids TV show, Knightmare... but for grown ups. Find The Storymaster's Tales Online LARP Facebook page to learn more.

We had an amazing virtual session for Halloween. This one man show was fun and magical. For 15 quid it is excellent value. What are you waiting for?

Good trip, overall
Aug 2019
We really enjoyed participating in the Wizards & Witches game, but I think how much fun you get out of it is how much you put in; the group we were in didn't want to be that involved which was disappointing, and overall we enjoyed the trip just not as much as we thought we would - at no fault of the team at the School. It was a really unusual and fun thing to do, perhaps if you're in a larger group this might be even more fun :)

Really unusual way to spend an afternoon
Oct 2019
As we were strolling around the quaint streets of this lovely little town we spotted some ragged flags and a sign announcing the presence of "The School of Wizards & Witches". A subsequent search on this platform revealed more. Even though we didn't have any kiddies with us, we signed up on line to attend one of the "events" on one afternoon later in the same week as Halloween.

Just before the allotted time we arrived and were encouraged to step down some rickety stairs into the basement and take a pew in a small, rather cramped room. We were one of the last to arrive - it was already occupied with young kids and an assortment of adult family members most of whom were seated around a large table.

What followed next and over the following couple of hours was real, interactive fun. I'm not going to divulge too much but it certainly involved werewolves, old grannies and lots of puzzle solving. I was really impressed by the enthusiasm and energy of Oliver and his side kick - a man of many guises. Not only was the whole show a great deal of fun but I really liked the way that Oliver skilfully managed the over zealous & keen younger participants. In fact I found that the way that he dealt with them was as entertaining as anything else.

We had a lot of fun here - if you have any spare time in Rye you should check it out.

We went on this interactive play with girls aged 11 and 12, and we all enjoyed the experience thoroughly! Scary, humourous, exciting- time just flew by and when the adventure was over, we were all eager to go back. Thank you for a great event!

Superb private party for our son and his friends
Sep 2019
We booked a private party at the School of Wizards & Witches and were very impressed. All the actors put a lot into the 'show' and the children (aged 8-9) really worked well together to solve the puzzles. Olly was kind enough to let us serve the birthday cake at the end, which rounded off the afternoon nicely. I would highly recommend the School of Wizards & Witches and paying for a private showing really is worth the extra as it ensures all the children have lots of 'gos'. ! Lots of the children left saying they wanted to have their party there next year, that's a good enough endorsement for me!
