Very nice pier to visit, kids loved it, nice views well worth a visit. I wouldn’t however recommend the fish and chips at the pavilion restaurant though, expensive and not very nice at all.

Wow! What a huge pier! It was amazing to walk down, so big and spacious. There were chairs at the end to sit on, lots of information and history boards and binoculars to look through. A lovely pier to walk down!

Hastings pier has had an unfortunate history since the original was built in 1872. You can't help but wonder if all the efforts to save it after a string of disasters have been worth the effort. I'm tempted to think that this pier needs towing...More

It is a nice large space to relax in with memorials to locals that avoids the tawdry commercialism of some piers. Its a nice place to stroll but there isn't much to do there. Its free to visit.

First visit, nice clean pier, interesting to read plaques placed by people in memory of loved ones, and also signs about what happened at various places on the old pier.

Why wasn't the pier put back to how it was. Nothing on it boring and bland . Hopefully new owner might turn it into a proper pier not a plank of nothing

There is not much to do on this pier although it was nice to walk round. Had lunch in the coffee shop where the c hoice was very limited especially if like me you can't fish

This is a must when visiting Hastings. There is a lovely view of Hastings town and coastline with a big coffee shop that has outdoor seating. Lovely on a sunny day
