Went here as part of our New Years Eve walk. The visiting family with us loved it - loved the fact they could play on the beach but also that a fab playpark was so close by too. A real asset on the seafront here.
went during the week and found it quite get there early if you want to park near the beach lots of cafes and snack places there the car park is a rip off but aint they all except this one is top of the list

This was a nice little beach but it is very rocky. Nice walk down to Hastings pier. Nice quaint town with lots of historic buildings right on the beach front Well worth the walk and plenty of car parking
We spent a long weekend in Hastings, and really enjoyed walking along the beach. It's not a sandy beach, it's a pebble beach, but that makes it more enjoyable for a family that likes to explore rather than build sandcastles.
