Ive been going to Stanmer since I was 5 and the tree I used to climb is still there. As parks go, its one of the nicest. Decent amount of parking and various areas to wander around from the woods to the parkland. The village...More

Great Place, love it here, nice to get out of Brighton and feel the fresh air! My dogs can roam free and nice to stop and have coffee

Lots to see, nice long walks, plenty of fun for kids too. There are nice woods, green areas for family activities, lovely orchards, walks up to the Downs, and two really good venues for tea. Plenty of space foe everybody to do their own thing

I've been here for a great party in the forest so I had a chance to look around. It's great to have such a forest and park near Brighton where you can just go out for camping.

60% of Brighton and Hove is not built on - that includes parks, farmland and open semi wild spaces. Forward thinking Councils acquired land around the dense city and Stanmer was bought in 1947 by Brighton Corporation. Stanmer is a glorious mix of parkland, woods...More

Nothing special. Just ok to drop in for a tea or coffee when you are out for a walk. At least you can sit outside weather permitting.

Stanmer Park is located a stones throw away from the Brighton Amex Stadium yet is a microcosm of tranquility. The Park includes a small village and Stanmer House itself and it has the feel of a working country estate including heavily potholed roads. There’s a...More

A great place to walk your dog. But watch out for the parking as it is confusing and you may get a fine. Make sure you park in designated car parks and not on the verges. It's really not clear at all.

You can park in the car park next to the house. Toilets inside and they are dog friendly.

Not a formal one - it's a country park with woodlands - but there's plenty of green space for running around and games like flying kites, ball games, hide and seek etc etc.
