Great shops, restaurants and different unique and quirky places. Great for buying unusual gifts and photo opportunities, can get really busy at peak times

If you are in Brighton this area is one to visit. Full of interesting shops reflecting the variety of people that you find in this fab city. Leave the big shopping centre being and just wander round these tiny alleys, look at the amazing array...More

Interesting and fascinating place. Lots of shops with beautiful designs and variety to choose from. Didn’t end up buying anything but may visit again before Christmas.

A must visit when in Brighton. We loved all the quirky little shops and found some great food places to eat. With a visit if your looking to buy some jewellery

The lanes are in a leisurely place to have a relaxing wander and find some unusual shops tucked away. Eg one dedicated to bath ducks.

A maze of narrow streets and alley ways with many interesting shops and some really first rate pubs. The fun is in just ambling around and seeing what takes your fancy.

There are a number of good ones, so hard to pick just one, some have some great cakes in the window so you can gage it from that, enjoy

You can just pop in. Most are really happy to help you out. Make sure you haggle.

The Lanes is a host of independent traders who open (as you'd imagine) independently. Some of the cafes open earlier for breakfasts but most of the jewellery shops start opening up around 10am
