always worth a walk through the North Laine. Lots of atmosphere and plenty of interesting shops and eating places. Stop for cake and coffee at somewhere like the Pasty Shop on Gardner Street and sit and watch the world go by.

My boyfriend and I wondered down this lane and honestly none of the shops caught our eye. The street was quite dirty and did not live up to expectations.

Very nice area to walk around and take in the quirky shops, restaurants and pubs. There's loads of unusual bits and bobs to be bought and a lot of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free catering restaurants.
