Best of old time pier, lovely for a stroll, ice cream and some sunny, equally as good for a windly walk in the fresh sea air.

I love the pier! From the arcades to the roller coaster (a bit to short for 5£) but especially for the view, this pier is definitely the highlight of a visit to Brighton.

Forget any peeling paint, old age and gaps between the board walk... the pier is an icon and just walking to the end and back takes you back in time to Brighton, the Pleasure capital of the south coast. My children love the 2 pokies...More

Hello Brigid Thank you for your wonderful review. In response to your comments about the board walk, the planks of wood on our boardwalk decking are checked each morning. We have a constant programme of replacing planks and we use hard wood, such as Ekki,...More

I love Blackpool - it’s a fun place and growing up in the North, we went there often as a child. But Brighton is supposed to be different, so I keep hearing. But I’m struggling to see how. And 2 penny machines don’t persuade me...

I came to Brighton a few years ago to complete the London to Brighton bike ride. At the time we visited the pier and whilst the amusements and slot machines were as you’d expect, they were fairly up to date and well maintained. Fast forward...More

This looks like a good place for families, especially those with young children. There is a small theme park on the end, which looked fun. It seems better value to buy a wristband, than to pay for individual rides. There is a large amusement arcade...More

Lots of slot machines and penny (or 2p) falls. Rides at the end of the pier. There are a couple of bars and a few places for food although limited for vegan and cross contamination likely. Not my favourite place in Brighton but good to...More
