Sherborne's own Blue Badge guide, Cindy Chant, takes you for a gentle stroll around this historic market town. The walk commences at the Tourist Information Centre on Digby Road: taking in the outside of the Abbey, the School, the Yeatman Hospital and back along Cheap Street - with its diverse buildings built from handsome ochre coloured local Hamstone

Cindy brought the history of Sherborne alive during this fascinating walking tour. Highly knowledgeable, she spoke about the people and events that have shaped the town down through the centuries, and presented it all in a very engaging and entertaining way.

I did not have much knowledge of British history, but after joining the tour with Cindy, I have learnt more. Cindy is very knowledgable. If i wandered by myself, i would not noticed important places. A recommended walking tour indeed.
