Our village has stopped organising the traditional Guy Fawkes display, so last year, I bought tickets for the display at the castle. On arrival at 6pm, the mud was well controlled by the flaps and I found a parking area after about 30 minutes, which...More

The castle was set in lovely grounds, even though the weather was not great and had been very wet recently. The contents of the castle are amazing, too much almost to take in. Need more than one visit. Guides very helpful and friendly.

Sorry for the late reply - you've probably found the answer out already! It's a while since we went but I'm pretty sure there is access for scooter and wheelchairs but I'll be honest I'm not 100% sure.
