Especially interesting if you have a knowledge of Hardy but worth a visit anyway. The house has a really homely feel and is an essential precursor if you intend to visit Hardy's Cottage as well. Be aware that the parking can be difficult

Just as at Hardy's cottage, volunteers are what made this visit so enjoyable and informative. We even had a Hardy poem read to us - it was delightful!
