We also visited a couple of years ago and have found the improvements with added attractions very enjoyable. The cafe was busy but the staff were very helpful and friendly. A lovely tranquil place to meander around the lakes and view the sculptures from so...More

We didn’t actually go in. Put off by the hefty charge and this is not a dog friendly place. Not even by the cafe. The whole place just looked “pretentious “ - but we didn’t go in. Will look at other reviews and maybe try...More

We first visited midweek in March 2 years ago and were the only visitors. On a Saturday this August it was much busier and the owners have obviously decided that they need to be more accessible. Gone is the requirement to pre book online, though...More

We were out on the motorcyle when we spotted the signs for this place. We managed to park the bike on a shaded spot and headed for the Gallery Cafe where we both had a hot drink. Very friendly staff. We then changed out of...More

I visited this place when it was quite cold and wet underfoot but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Better still was a nice hot cup of tea in the restaurant. The sculptures are magnificent. Well worth a visit.

Look up the sculptures online or look at the ones for sale in the gallery. If you like them, go inside. If you think they're kitschy and simplistic, don't pay ten pounds for the entrance fee.

Popped in for a walk before we checked into our B&B. We had planned to have lunch in the cafe but despite a large selection of wines to choose from, the food options were limited and a little disappointing. The walk around the lake was...More

Dear Clare, I am afraid we do not allow dogs to visit Sculpture by the Lakes as the owners have a number of their own dogs, including three rescues who would be upset by visiting dogs.

Dear Sharngriff. Admission to the park is £10 a head but it is possible to visit our Gallery Cafe free of charge. We are open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am until 5pm. And just a polite reminder of our strict no children under... More

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the amount of walking. The Sculptures are sited around the 26 acres of lakes and garden and whilst some can be easily seen from the Cafe seating area, others are placed further around... More
