About
We are Bournemouth's first ‘Micro pub.' A small family run freehouse providing you quality craft beer straight from the cask. The beers and ciders are sourced from independent breweries. Plus an extensive range of Belgian bottled beers. No telly, occasional live music. Enough rum to sink a ship and a weekly Spirit of Thursday showcasing a bottle of our choice at a significantly reduced rate.

This is a great place. Quirky. Always got good beer from small breweries. I usually end up chatting to someone. Nice ppl running it and drinking in it.

We were here last night for Martin Warman Trio unplugged blues live music and lovely to discover this cosy place!

The performance was amazing and we had quite a few dances.

There’s a cosy room and outdoor seating at the back that looks amazing for catch ups with friends. Would recommend trying this place out.

Such a warm and friendly welcome here, great choice, fantastic pizza, dogs welcome and a quirky sitting area out back for when the weather’s good. Love it!

Lovely warm, cosy atmosphere. No rowdiness. Great beers. You'd have no idea that this place is on the road it's on once inside. It feels really safe. A great place to go for a drink, with seating inside and out.

Utterly brilliant - the best atmosphere, beers and other drinks of anywhere in Bournemouth. Great foods too!

Paul and his staff are very friendly and serve a great choice of beers and ciders. Although the key keg beers were a bit over priced. A bit small but loads of seats and outdoor garden. All the customers were very friendly and made everyone welcome.

Popped in for a couple of pints after a long day walking around Bournemouth. Really loved this place, much better than going for a pint in Bournemouth centre. Big selection of beers, ciders and gins etc. Highly recommended if you're down this neck of the woods.

"The Shed" is a real community pub, friendly to locals, visitors and, most importantly, dogs. Excellent and ever changing choice of ales and ciders as well as a truly astonishing number of rums, amongst other things (fancy a mead? No problem!).

Like everywhere else you can't go and drink there during the pandemic but they are open for takeaway Wednesday to Sunday and at other times by arrangement.

Once things are back to normal the live music events and quiz nights will resume too.

There's something for everyone except, fortunately or otherwise depending on your point of view, kids.

Whether you fancy a conversation or a quiet pint, you will not regret discovering this brilliant, award winning, family run micro-pub.
