Best to go there at lunchtime, when they usually have a concert & sandwich bar. The church itself is almost the size of a cathedral & is well worth a visst.

This is a very nice church (if you like churches), it is close to a public car park and access is easy. You can pick up a leaflet as you enter that gives you some basic information about the church and some of the key...More

What a gem in the heart of Bournmouth. Beautiful stained glass windows, striking mosaics and an air of complete tranquility. Well worth a detour from the shopping area - just behind Beales.

Mary Shelley and Percy Bysshe Shelley are buried together within a few yards of the church, up a path at the hill at the back. An impressively solid monument. The church inside and out is impressive too. Plenty of community events, music, teas and coffees...More

We explored this church and graveyard on a very cold February day. Quite fascinated by the history and the famous people associated with the church particularly Mary Shelley who we did not realise was from this area. Sadly we were just too late to use...More

A superb Christmas Eve Carol Service. A packed church probably didn’t fully appreciate the glorious architecture in the building or the fantastic Victorian ornamentation. Plan to spend at least 30 minutes exploring the treasures of this wonderful structure.

Caught the Bus Back to our Hotel from alongside St Peters Church, a magnificent structure. This could be Bournemouth's Parish Church, if Bournemouth was a City, this would perhaps be its Cathedral.
